Liz was born in Maryland but considers herself a Floridian because she has lived in various cities in Florida most of her life and in locations throughout the Tampa Bay area all of her adult life. A graduate of USF, she went on to work and eventually retire (30 years) from her corporate environment. Jerry W. Pemberton was born and raised in Oakland, California. He lived in California all his life until arriving in Florida just two days before Hurricane Charley. Married to his wife Pamela since 1976, they have four children who all wonder why their parents moved to Florida. Jerry has spent 20 years as a contractor in the paving and grading industry and before that nearly 12 years as a high school teacher. With a Master’s degree in Music, he has also spent many years as a Minister of Music and currently assists the music ministry at Hillsdale Baptist Church in Tampa.
